Alfence Machine Guarding Systems offers standard modular machine guarding systems for customers in factories, warehouses and workshops. If none of our standard modular machine guarding systems meet your needs – for example, you may wish to minimize the floor space of your robot cell – we can design, manufacture and install protection equipment to suit your application in accordance with the safety distance standard BS EN ISO 13857. Our customized machine guarding equipment are designed to be quick to install, save space, and provide the aesthetic appearance you want. They can also be designed to allow for quick removal of the panel when machine maintenance is required and they can be adjusted or modified if your needs change.

Panel material options for standardized machine guarding systems include welded wire mesh, clear polycarbonate, aluminum alloy, or a combination of these, and are available in a variety of sizes to suit the light, medium, heavy and temporary guarding applications

Inspection&Repair Doors

Machine guarding systems Inspection&Repair doors are available in a variety of styles, including hinged single or double doors, sliding doors with top or bottom rails, and trackless cantilever doors for crane or forklift access. Manually or electrically operated lift doors are available, including high-speed roll-up doors for automated production applications. Suitable interlocking devices can be pre-installed on each door.

Supply only or supply&install

Our machine guarding systems are designed to be easy to install. Therefore, customers can install them themselves or use our installation service, and we also have the option to complete pre-installationbefore shipment of any door interlocking devices, safety light covers, emergency stop switches and other safety devices.

Alfence machine guarding systems are fully compliant with current machine safety standards and regulations. Where appropriate, guards equipment provide a declaration of conformity, whether for new systems, modifications or remold – Alfence protection fences comply with all requirements of EN ISO 14120:2015 and the latest Machinery Directive 2006/42/EG.
