Aluminum profiles with a controlled powder-coat process
Alfence uses aluminum extrusion for the modular frame, followed by shot blasting and powder coating cured at 185 °C for 15 minutes. This combination is intended to reduce rust-related maintenance concerns and surface flaking associated with ordinary steel barriers. The finished frame is lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and suitable for indoor machine guarding where a smooth, easy-to-clean surface is required.
Panel choices for visibility and controlled access
The post-and-panel system can be configured with welded wire mesh, transparent polycarbonate or acrylic panels, and access doors. Transparent sections keep equipment visible for operators and maintenance while maintaining a physical perimeter. Hinged, sliding, or folding safety doors, magnetic handles, safety interlock switches, and safety light curtains can be reviewed according to the machine risk assessment.
