Mefence · Frameless 3D Industrial Safety Fence · NPI & Line Changeover

3-Step Clip Install, 50% Faster, Zero Welding — Built for Lines That Rebalance Every Quarter

For EMS plants, multi-variant workshops, and short-batch lines that rebalance every NPI cycle, Mefence replaces welded sunk-cost cages with a frameless 3D industrial safety fence that installs in three clip steps, cuts to irregular workstation dimensions on site, and disassembles intact for the next line layout.

Mefence Specifications — What the Clip-Fixed Frameless Panel Delivers

Every parameter on a Mefence industrial safety fence is sized to make the next NPI line changeover cheaper, not more expensive. The table below is drawn from the Mefence product specification sheet and reflects the parameters our engineers verify on every shipped pallet.

Parameter Value
Material Q235 carbon steel
Surface treatment Electrostatic powder coating (powder coated steel)
Wire diameter 3 mm / 4 mm
Mesh opening 20 × 100 mm / 50 × 50 mm
Panel width 200 – 1400 mm
Panel height 200 – 3000 mm
Ground clearance 140 mm
Post size 40 × 60 mm / 60 × 60 mm
Standard color Yellow + black (custom colors available, including orange)
Panel structure Frameless welded wire mesh with horizontal T-shaped ridges
Connection Plastic clip + self-tapping screw, no site welding
Post-to-floor Base plate post + expansion bolt, slotted mounting holes for alignment
Installation profile One-person, three-step clip assembly, 50%+ time reduction
Reference standards OSHA 29 CFR 1910.212, ANSI B11.19, ISO 14120, ISO 13857

Three Engineering Reasons Mefence Survives an NPI Cycle

3-Step Clip Install Cuts Install Time 50%, Zero Hot Work

A Mefence industrial safety fence installs in three steps with a single technician — plastic clip, self-tapping screw, and base-plate post with a slotted mounting hole. There is no welding current, no slag, no fire watch, and no spark-watch certificate at the end of the shift. The full perimeter goes from pallet to commissioned in roughly half the hours of a welded framed cage, which turns an eight-hour Saturday commissioning window into a Saturday morning and gets the line back in production before second shift.

Frameless 3D Mesh Trims On Site to Any Irregular Workstation

Frameless welded wire mesh panels can be cut to the actual column-to-column dimension on site with standard cutting tools. Standard SKU widths from 200 mm to 1400 mm and heights from 200 mm to 3000 mm cover L-shaped CNC pockets, U-shaped robot cells, and corridor runs alongside existing column lines without a custom factory order. The horizontal T-shaped ridge stays intact through the cut and continues to carry cable bundles above the mesh or accept charred wood-slat inserts where visual shielding is required.

Modular Disassembly Migrates the Site to the Next NPI Cycle

Every joint on a Mefence perimeter is a clip or a bolted base plate, so the fence comes apart intact when the next NPI cycle reshuffles the line. Panels, posts, clips, and base plates move to the new perimeter; nothing is cut, nothing is scrapped, and nothing has to be sent out for re-galvanizing. For a plant running six to eight changeovers a year, that turns the industrial safety fence from a one-time sunk cost into a reconfigurable asset that depreciates over its real useful life.

Where Mefence Fits an NPI-Driven Floor

  • EMS NPI cells that rebalance every product introduction cycle
  • Multi-variant, small-batch workshops that rezone the line every quarter
  • Warehouse zoning and storage area separation that shift with inventory layout
  • Pedestrian-vehicle separation where painted lines and cones have failed
  • AGV / AMR lane control to stop random crossings that trigger emergency stops
  • Robot workstation perimeters and CNC machine guarding perimeters
  • Forklift path barriers and traffic flow zoning inside retrofit windows
  • Tool crib enclosures and mezzanine edge protection that change with floor plans

Mefence is positioned as non-high-impact area demarcation and traffic control. For direct strike-point containment at robot or conveyor impact zones, route the layout to SGF’s higher-spec Machine Fence line so the perimeter scope is split correctly between demarcation and impact-rated barrier.

Mefence Spec Sheet and Drawing Pack

Request the Mefence industrial safety fence specification sheet, panel dimension drawings, base-plate anchor layout, and clip hardware schedule for your next NPI line changeover. The SGF engineering team sizes panels, posts, base plates, clips, and self-tapping screws against your actual floor grid and the cadence of your changeover calendar.
